A hearty, traditional breakfast that brings together tender nopales and fluffy eggs for a simple, flavorful start to your day.
Ingredients
1 cup cooked nopalitos (prepared)
2 eggs
1 Tbsp of Butter
¼ Cup of Chopped white onion
Salt to taste
Salsa to taste
Serve with Tortillas or toast
Instructions
1. Cook the Nopalitos:
In a skillet, add butter or oil. Sauté the cooked nopalitos with onion and a pinch of salt for about 10 minutes.
2. Combine Eggs with Nopalitos:
Add the eggs directly into the skillet with the nopalitos and stir until fully cooked.
3. Serve and Enjoy!
Plate the nopalitos with eggs. Serve with bacon, avocado, and tortillas or toast. Top with salsa to taste.
